OH Happy Day! Baby Daxton is here to stay!

Born December 10, 2008 3:11 AM

During Thanksgiving I told Brek he would have to be the big brother now, and not be the baby anymore. He responded with a definitive "NO". Well, we will just SEE about that little boy!

I'm praying for the Wirthlin family with the passing of their Daddy and Grandpa. No matter how old a man is, death is never welcome. Even if those who love him must watch him suffer and waste away before he is released from the earthly tabernacle of clay, still we want to save ourselves from the pain of separation from those we love and hold dear. I know I prayed many times for my own Daddy to go on living. Only after I saw how he suffered was I able to give up my selfishness long enough to pray for his release from suffering. This photo was a Thanksgiving at Wayne's and Adeline's in St. George Utah. Dad is in the blue shirt next to Teri who is in the print shirt. I believe it was 1972 or 1973...

I just love these photos that Lacy and Michael T. took when they were here for thanksgiving.
It was soo fun having them here. They were my best helpers for the turkey dinner and of course they are the favorite Aunt and Uncle for Kayla, Sidni and Brek! I just wish the sun would've shined so we could have played outside too.

Happy Thanksgiving

Grandchildren Light up my Life!

OK, i so do NOT know what I am doing...

It's Thursday November 13, 2008 and I just wanted to put on some more photos of the grandkids because I don't have any darling little children any more.

Friday last week Brek locked himself in my bedroom. It's easy to do it just has a little turn button in the middle of the granny knob, the kind you don't have to turn just pull down on, because when I wake up in the middle of the night and need to go to the bathroom, my arms and hands are usually asleep and I don't have time to wait for them to wake up, but you can hit that pull down with just a stump of appendage, any appendage and it will open the door...

Anyway he locked himself in and I was out in the hallway telling him to turn the button. Between sobs he would say "the button", well of course he didn't see anything that looked like a button... My key was in my purse, which was locked in the room with Brek. So I called Chris on his cell phone and asked where his key was. He said it was on his key ring and lo and behold he was just outside pulling into the driveway. So little Brek didn't have to wait very long to be rescued, but you would have thought it was a few days the way he bolted out the door and grabbed Chris around the legs and hugged him. He was SOOO happy to be released from his prison!
